This is an exceptionally important and responsible role and the successful candidate will need to have an excellent working knowledge of the rules/laws governing new clients.

The role will include ensuring that anti money laundering systems are in place and working efficiently and that new clients are subject to satisfactory background identification checks. In some cases it may be necessary to question activities of prospective clients and suggesting even refusing to act in some cases. Research activities to avoid conflicts of interest are also an essential part of the role.

After a period of six months in the UK, this role will be relocating overseas as part of a process to strengthen international operations.

Experience of a similar role within a professional services environment is essential as there will be interaction with partners. The need to keep all information confidential is of paramount importance.

The successful candidate will have proven experience, a good knowledge of Microsoft packages and be familiar with the relevant legislation and compliance issues. On a personal level, the successful candidate will be a strong, organised team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Attention to detail, discretion and a tenacious attitude are needed for success in this role.

Salary £30,000 plus benefits
